The studio
ThatDeveloperGuy is an SDVOSB-certified service-disabled veteran-owned web development studio based in Cassville, Missouri. I personally write every line of code on every site — no offshore teams, no white-label resellers, no AI-generated content slop. The studio runs on bare-metal Debian + nginx infrastructure I administer myself, not on Vercel or Squarespace.
Engine optimization (SEO + AEO + AIO + GEO) is handled through the sister studio ThatDevPro. Hosting through ThatWebHostingGuy. AI engineering through ThatAIGuy.org. Research and writing through FeedTheJoe.

Technology stack
The stacks vary per project, but the common spine is: hand-coded HTML when the project allows it, React or Next.js or Astro when client requirements demand it, Tailwind for styling, Schema.org JSON-LD for entity graphs, nginx on Debian for serving, IndexNow for cross-engine ping, and the aio-surfaces + seo-sidecar open-source toolkit for AI-citation surfaces. Every site ships with llms.txt, llms-full.txt, aeo.json, entity.json, brand.json, and ai.txt.
Zero Cloudflare. Zero Vercel proxy in front of paying clients. Zero Squarespace. Zero Wix. Every site runs on infrastructure I administer directly via SSH.
